  5. THE GAME

  7. You must prevent objects from reaching  the  side of The Pit by moving
  8. your spaceship around the rim  -  either clockwise or anti-clockwise -
  9. and firing laser bolts at them. You  will lose one of your three lives
  10. every time a Mutant llama escapes,  or  when  you bump into one of the
  11. other weirdos. Whatever you do, don't shoot spud.

  13. PLAYING THE GAME

  15. There are three different  Pits,  once  you  have successfully cleared
  16. them all you will return to  the  first  at  a more difficult level of
  17. play.
  18.  
  19. The games menu offers the choice  of keyboard control (define your own
  20. keys), cursor joystick or Kempston joystick.
  21.  
  22. A cheat mode has been incorporated  in  Exodus, offering 255 lives and
  23. the destruction of only 15  (instead  of  the usual 50) objects before
  24. proceeding to the next Pit. All you have to do is find it!
